Presentation at the NEEDS Conference in Copenhagen

9-11 december Linda Kvarnlöf participated at The First Northern European Conference on Emergency and Disaster Studies (NEEDS) in Copenhagen.

The conference offered an interested mix of expert panels with researchers such as Anthony Oliver-Smith, Allan Lavell, Richard Eiser and Susan Cutter and paper sessions. In a session on solidarity networks Linda Kvarnlöf presented the working paper The importance of local communities and informal networks for household capacities to deal with electricity and ICT breakdowns in crisis and disasters (Heidenstrom & Kvarnlof, 2015).
