The HOMERISK project team has now started working on WP3: “Households’ preparedness for crisis events”. Our first task is to interview households in rural areas about their preparedness for electricity and ICT breakdowns.
On March 9th SIFO team members Harald Throne-Holst and Nina Heidenstrøm visited Grue municipality in Norway and was shown what two households would do if they lost electricity and ICT supply at home.
We found many different preparedness measures such as flash lights, wood stoves and power banks:
